Obama Ratings Have Congressional Democrats Worried

Obama Ratings and South Africa News.Net: Obama Ratings do not look good to Congressional Democrats according to a South Africa News. Net article published today.

"Political experts have said they believe Republicans will have an easier time than Democrats in motivating their supporters this year due to the president’s poor standing in the polls. Mr Obama's approval rating is around 50 percent or just below in most recent polls. Public-opinion surveys show most Americans find the president likeable, but may not agree with his policies." {1}

Armenian Remembrance Day: Obama Fails To Say The "Genocide" Word

Obama failed to say the word "genocide" on the 95th anniversary of Armenian Remembrance Day, the day in which Armenians mourn for the 1.5 million Armenians who were murdered by the Turkish Muslim Empire, commonly referred to as the Ottoman Empire.

The Armenian "Holocaust," (Armenians and Jews both use the word "Holocaust" when referring to the mass genocidal slaughter of their ancestors) was a mass genocide, and will remain so historically, in spite of Obama's failure to say the word "genocide," favoring the words "Meds Yeghern" or "Great Catastrophe" instead.

Even though Obama called this mass slaughtering of Armenians "one of the worst atrocities of the 20th century," [1] he just could not seem to get the word "genocide" to proceed from his brain to his lips, via his speech on behalf of the Armenian people on Armenian Remembrance Day, April 24, 2010.

Obama has a habit of choosing to use cleverly disguised words in his public statements, words he considers to be politically incorrect. For example, Obama seems to have a serious problem in using words related to terrorism, or terrorists, especially if those terrorist happen to be violent fanatical Muslim practitioners of Islam, i.e, Islamic Jihad terrorists. In the particular case of Armenian Remembrance Day, Obama did not wish to offend Turkey, Turkish leaders, or the Turkish government.

"Obama's use of Meds Yeghern "is an elegant dodge to avoid using the 'g-word' -- but the substance of what he states about what happened gives no comfort to those who cling to the Turkish official version," says Harvard University's Andras Riedlmayer. "1.5 million Armenians were rounded up and massacred or marched to their death. Despite the passive construction, that assumes intentionality." [2]

"Nevertheless, such nuance was not appreciated by the Armenian American lobby group, the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA), which rapped Obama for 'disgraceful capitulation to Turkey's threats' and of 'offering euphemisms and evasive terminology to characterize this crime against humanity,' in a press release Saturday." Judaism Is A Religion, Not A Race -- Are You A Closet Anti-Jewish Anti-Semite?

Shakespeare's Shylock
Is there such a thing as a closet Anti-Semite?

I believe the answer to this question is yes. Anti-Semitic statements occur in common, everyday life. For example, if you ever used the expression "you can Jew him down," when referring to bargaining for an object you wished to purchase at a yard sale, you said anti-Semitic words, perhaps without even realizing it. Similarly, if you ever told someone, "you look Jewish," or "you look like a Jew," even if your remark was made in all innocence, and meaning no real harm, you spoke anti-Jewish, anti-Semitic words.

The truth about both of the above statements is this: Jews are not more frugal than any other group of people. This idea stems from anti-Semitic, ignorant, untrue, and preconceived ideas. Stereotypes are never the real truth, and people should not base their opinions about others based on stereotypical hearsay. Neither do Jews "look Jewish." The idea that Jews exclusively have big noses or look a certain way is equally false. Erroneous ideas about Jews, and the Jewish people, are what propelled Hitler's Nazis into murdering 6,000,000 Jews (The Holocaust).

Hitler believed in the evil concept that Jews were the opposite of what he called "pure Aryans," those with German ancestors or German blood. Even German Jews were not considered to be Aryans by Hitler, because their Jewish blood, in his mind, automatically made them an inferior people or race, and not acceptable candidates the “pure Aryan race.” The whole idea of a so-called pure Aryan race is untrue, and founded upon the basic ideas of those who perpetrate anti-semitic propaganda.

Jews are not a race. Judaism is a religion, and Jews are people who were either born into, or converted, to the religion of Judaism. People often confuse the two, but bear in mind that Jews are from countries all over the world, so what "race" would they be?

If you were born in America, your ancestors were originally born in another country, or several other countries. The same principle applies to those who are born into the Jewish religion. Their religion is “Jewish” but their Jewish ancestors, who were born in various countries, determine what race the person belongs to, not the person’s religious beliefs.

What race would a Jew belong to if he or she converted to Judaism? If a person converts to Catholicism, does the person’s race then change to “Catholic?” Of course there is no such thing as the Catholic race, and neither is there any such thing as the Jewish race.

In the future, I ask you to please think carefully about the common remarks you make, and have made, to others about Jews, or to Jews themselves, and reconsider the error of your Anti-Semitic words. Any words that sound even the slightest bit anti-Semitic should never be spoken.

Historically, the Jewish people have gone through many trials and difficulties. Jews have had more than their share of suffering throughout history. Please don’t cause any more pain by adding your thoughtless words into the atmosphere. This applies to your speech about Jews to other people as well, which is nothing more than malicious gossip, and also belongs to the category of anti-Semitic speech.

Terrorism Is A Real Word and Politically Correct Politicians Don't Own It

Why I am not afraid to use the words "ISLAMIC JIHADIST (JIHAD) TERRORISTS." To not use the word "terrorists" would be to go against everything I believe in. There is no other suitable word. The ultra liberal politically correct "in" crowd prefers to use the words "man-caused disasters" instead of the correct word, "terrorism."

This will never suffice, because all true AMERICAN PATRIOTS know that the REAL WORD is "TERRORISM," "TERRORISTS," and "ISLAMIC JIHADIST (JIHAD) TERRORISTS." If using these words makes you uncomfortable, then perhaps you ought to ask yourself why you have sympathy for those Muslim Jihad fanatics who murder and behead other human beings in the name of their so-called god, Allah?

Why I am not afraid to write or say Politically Incorrect words: I don't believe politically incorrect speech should include racist, anti-Semitic, anti-White, anti-Black, anti-Christian, anti-Mormon or anti-Anybody words or phrases. Politically incorrect words come into play when the attempt is made to verbally transform the concept of evilness (politically correct) into something not so evil, or even good (politically incorrect). When this attempt is successful, then the time to be politically incorrect has arrived.

Saying or writing the words "Jihad," "Jihadist," "terrorists," "terrorism," "Muslim fanatics," and "Islamic fanatics" is acceptable, even though these words are considered to be politically incorrect by leftist liberals, most of whom hate Israelis and support Palestinians.

Obama Checked "Afro-American" On Census; Neglected To Mention "Irish"

Obama identified himself as being Afro-American on his 2010 Census form. President Barack Obama checked the "black or Afro-American" box on the 2010 Census form. Obama could have checked the "white" box or "some other race" box. Or Barack Obama could have checked both the "white" and  "black or Afro-American" boxes, due to the fact that his father was black and his mother white.

The question is: Why did Barack Obama identify himself as being exclusively "black or Afro-American" on the 2010 Census? Technically, Barack Obama is "biracial," meaning two races, and not exclusively one race. There were 784,764 biracial American residents who checked both the "white" and "black or Afro-American" boxes on the 2010 census form. "This is only the second census to allow people to identify themselves by more than one race. About 7 million people, or 2.4 percent of the U.S. population, chose that option in 2000." 1

Obama obviously wants future historians to describe him in history books as having been the first "black or Afro-American" U.S. President. But this is a half-truth. How is President Barack Obama's decision to not declare himself as being "biracial" fair to a possible future "black or Afro-American" U.S. President who might not happen to be biracial?

This hypothetical future Afro-American U.S. President would go down in history books as having been the second Afro-American U.S. President, instead of the first Afro-American U.S. President. To complicate this matter even further, what if this hypothetical future Afro-American U.S. President turns out to be a conservative Republican instead of a liberal Democrat?

To make things less complicated, Barack Obama could have just declared himself as being "Irish" on his 2010 Census form. *See My Related Post below.

Renee Walker Mercilessly Murdered During Season 8 of 24

Renee Walker is dead. Renee Walker has been mercilessly murdered -- shot through a window by a terrorist. Annie Wersching, the actress who portrayed Renee Walker on Fox TV's "24," was a breath of fresh air during the final season, Season 8, of "24."

I don't understand why the writers of "24" needed to kill off Renee Walker. I was actually hoping Jack Bauer (actor Kiefer Sutherland) and Renee Walker would get married during the final episode of "24." There are only six hours of air time remaining for "24" and Jack Bauer until the Fox TV hit show permanently goes off the air.

What will end up happening to Jack Bauer in the final moments of "24?" That is the question "24" fans want to know. I hope the liberal writers of "24" don't turn Jack Bauer into anything less than the American hero fans have grown to love.

Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer Captured "24" Fans' Hearts and Minds

I am going to miss Jack Bauer on Monday nights when "24" ends. After tonight, there will be 8 remaining hours of Fox TV's "24." What will I do with my time on Monday nights when "24" finally comes to an end?

I'm sure I'll put it to good use, but I will miss Jack Bauer. Kiefer Sutherland, you made the world think Jack Bauer is a real person, and I don't think any actor can ever surpass that feat.

Kiefer Sutherland, Your acting abilities in portraying Jack Bauer has been nothing short of amazing. You captured the hearts and minds of men and women, political conservatives and liberals, in America and throughout the world.

Thank you, Kiefer Sutherland, for giving us riveting Monday nights of pure escapism for the past several years. "24" fans cheered when you captured and tortured Jihadist terrorists, enjoying a few politically incorrect minutes. Thank you, Kiefer Sutherland, for depicting Jack Bauer as a true American hero for "24" fans in America and throughout the world.

Jack Bauer "24" Special On Fox TV Monday April 5 8 -10 PM ET/PT

Jack Bauer will be on Fox TV's "24" for an extra hour tonight. I can hardly wait to see what Jack Bauer will be up to on this 2-hour Fox TV 24 Special, which begins at 8 PM and ends at 10 PM ET/PT. After tonight, there will only be 8 hours left, and Jack Bauer fans (including Conservative Wordsmith Susan Baldwin) will no longer be able to look forward to seeing Jack every Monday night.

If you want to see a summary of tonight's show ahead of time, click on the above "24" link, then click on the Monday night TV Schedule link, and a box will pop up giving a summary of tonight's show. A convenient list of the main characters' and actors' names in the "24" Cast and in Monday night's Guest Cast are included. I can tell you this: According to the Fox summary of tonight's "24" 2-hour Special, there will be betrayals and the biggest plot twist that ever got twisted on "24."

Also worth mentioning is: The popular Fox TV show "House" will not be aired tonight due to the extra hour of "24" taking up the "House" time slot.

Obama Poll: Republicans Earn Voters' Trust on Health Care Issue

The Rasmussen Reports Daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday, April 5, the day after Easter Sunday:

Strongly Approve 34%
Strongly Disapprove 41%
Presidential Approval Index rating = -7%

I wrote a post on March 19 regarding the Rasmussen Reports Daily Presidential Tracking Poll for that day. On March 19 the Presidential Approval Index rating was -21%.

According to Rasmussen Reports, the number has gone up from -21% to -7% due to the overwhelming support Obama has received from Democrats since the passing of Obama's Health Bill.

Also according to Rasmussen Reports, the number of voters listed in the Strongly Disapprove category has remained 40% for months due to the fact that Obama's Health Bill has had either a slight effect or no effect on Republican and unaffiliated voters. Similarly, 53% of Americans now trust Republicans more than Democrats on the issue of health care.

Conservative Wordsmith Commentary:

I think it is a good sign that American voters trust Republicans more than Democrats on the issue of Health Care.

It would be better if the number increased from 53% to, say, 93%. It would be equally good if American voters would learn to trust Republicans more than Democrats about other issues as well.

America's voters need to learn the truth about Republicans; American voters should read more about American history in relationship to the Republican party. As a starter, I recommend you read my post:

Obama Takes A Back Seat To Bush In Recent Poll

President George W. Bush
Public Domain
President George W. Bush (Republican) is now more popular than President Barack Obama (Democrat).

The March 19, 2010 Rasmussen Reports Daily Presidential Tracking Poll indicates the following:

1. Strongly Approve: 23%

2. Strongly Disapprove: 44%

This equals a result of -21%.

from: Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

Conservative Wordsmith Commentary:

Yes, -21% is President Barack Obama's Presidential Approval Index on Friday, March 19, 2010.This Rasmussen poll news is nothing new. In Obama's Poll Numbers Are Falling to Earth, written by By Douglas E. Schoen and Scott Rasmussen, and published in the Wall Street Journal on March 13, 2009, (a little over 1 year ago), the writers stated that, according to the poll data on that date, "Mr. Obama's approval rating is dropping and is below where George W. Bush was in an analogous period in 2001."

Obama's Presidential Approval Index rating on March 13, 2009 was 6%.

Barack Obama or Ron Paul? Which One In 2012?

Would Democrats and Libertarians vote for Barack Obama or Ron Paul in the 2012 Presidential election, should either one of them be running for U.S. President? Given a choice, I wonder who liberals would pick? Would Ron Paul be a better president than President Barack Obama? Or is the reverse true?

I'm glad I won't need to make these decisions because I am not a liberal, Democrat, or Libertarian. If you are someone who might need to make this choice in 2012, which presidential candidate will you support -- Obama or Paul?

Ronald Reagan Foretold Inherent Dangers In Obama Forcing Socialism Down Americans' Throats

Presiden Ronald Reagan

Ronald Reagan Library
President Barack Obama has no right, as President of the United States of America, to coerce Americans into paying for medical care. America is a democracy, not a kingdom, and Obama is a president, not a king.

I don't think he gets that, though, and this is extremely troubling to many Americans, including myself. The great and beloved U.S. President Ronald Reagan was way ahead of the political climate that has just occurred regarding the passing of Obama's Health Care Reform Act by Congress.

President Reagan warned Americans years ago, in 1961 to be exact, about the inherent dangers present in socialized medicine. In Ronald Reagan Speaks Out Against Socialized Medicine, a 1961 LP featuring Ronald Reagan speaking for more than 10 minutes, President Reagan said: "subsidized medicine would curtail Americans' freedom" and that "pretty soon your son won't decide when he's in school, where he will go or what he will do for a living. He will wait for the government to tell him." 1

President Reagan continues: "Reagan says "One of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine. It’s very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project, most people are a little reluctant to oppose anything that suggests medical care for people who possibly can’t afford it." Reagan cites the failure of president Harry Truman's national health insurance proposal as evidence of the American people's rejection of socialized medicine." 1

Ron Paul On Israel: You Don't Want To Know What Ron Paul Really Thinks

Ron Paul On Israel:

"During Israel's 2009 war on the Gaza Strip, Paul addressed Congress to voice his staunch opposition to the House's proposed resolution supporting Israel's actions. He stated: "Madame Speaker, I strongly oppose H. Res. 34, which was rushed to the floor with almost no prior notice and without consideration by the House Foreign Affairs Committee. The resolution clearly takes one side in a conflict that has nothing to do with the United States or US interests. I am concerned that the weapons currently being used by Israel against the Palestinians in Gaza are made in America and paid for by American taxpayers." He then went on to question the very purpose of America's support for Israel, asking: "Is it really in the interest of the United States to guarantee the survival of any foreign country?"

"When later asked about his comments by Russia Today, Ron Paul added: "[This support has] been going on for more than 50 years, because there has been a pretty strong case made for the Jewish people being treated quite badly, and emotionally there was an argument for having a place they can call their homeland, and people bought into this. But even then there was no justification for us to be using our money for doing that. There’s one thing being friends, getting along with people and trading with people versus subsidizing them."

24 Canceled: Kiefer Sutherland Breathed Life Into 24 Hero Jack Bauer

"24" is canceled. It's official. Now Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) can't save the world, nor can he save America from Jihadist terrorists. Jack Bauer never really could save anyone because Jack Bauer isn't a real person.

Nevertheless, Jack Bauer has seemed like a real friend, political ally, and hero to fans all over the world, both conservatives and liberals, since 2001, shortly after the horrible events of 9/11. It was reported a few seasons ago that Conservative Talk Show Host Rush Limbaugh flew to the Los Angeles, CA area to visit the "24" behind-the-scenes set because he was such an enthusiastic fan.

I will sorely miss Jack Bauer. "24" is one of the few television shows I watch, and I have looked forward to the little escape mechanism "24" provided, with the help of Kiefer Sutherland. Kiefer Sutherland is the actor who breathed life into Jack Bauer, and made him seem like a real human being.

"24" has, sadly, been canceled. Soon Jack Bauer will fade into the memories of his fans. "24" will be ending after 10 more hours of episodes. The announcement was made at the end of Monday night's show (March 29). There will be a special 2-hour event of "24" airing on Fox on Monday, April 5, beginning at 8 PM in Los Angeles, CA.
