France's Expulsion Of The Roma, AKA Gypsies

France's President Nicolas Sarkozy is giving orders that Gypsies, or the Roma, as they prefer to be called, should have their Gypsy camps destroyed, and be deported back to Romania. The command is already being followed. Several Gypsy encampments have been demolished, and Gypsies are already being deported from France.

This is not a matter of illegal immigration, although this is the excuse President Nicolas Sarkozy is giving to the world. France's expulsion of the Roma is a matter of ethnic racism, and demonstrates an extreme disliking of the Roma. This is far too similar to the order given by Hitler to his German Nazi henchmen; the Nazis murdered a vast majority of Gypsies living in Europe.

I can't help but feel compassion for Gypsies because, like Jews, they have had a history of being misunderstood and hated. I find these racist acts by Sarkozy to be unethical, immoral, and uncivil. I guess the French are not quite as sophisticated as all of the hype would indicate.

Obama Says He Has "No Regrets" For Endorsing Ground Zero Mosque

President Barack Obama should have kept silent regarding the Ground Zero mosque. Does Obama have any regrets? According to today's New York Daily News article, Obama has no regrets about his recent remarks in which he endorsed the building of a Muslim mosque near New York city's Ground Zero.

This seems to be one of the many problems that is alienating more and more Americans from Obama's presidency. Obama just doesn't seem to have any regrets over any of his irresponsible acts and words as acting President of the US. I don't think  the word "accountability" is in Obama's dictionary; at least not where Americans are concerned.

Greg Gutfeld To Open Gay Bar for Islamic Gays Near Ground Zero Mosque

On Friday, President Obama staunchly defended the idea of building a Muslim Mosque near Ground Zero. Obama said that Muslims have rights, including the right to buy property and build a mosque, and this includes building a mosque in the New York city area where the tragic events of 9/11 took place.

If Muslims have rights to buy property and build a mosque near Ground Zero, so does Greg Gutfeld of Fox News' Red Eye. Greg Gutfeld wants to break down the Muslim religious walls against homosexuality, and what better way to cater to Islamic gay men than to build a gay bar right next door to the Muslim mosque?

One more thing: Perhaps there should be a sign near the Muslim mosque and Greg Gutfeld's Islamic gay bar reading:

This is the place where American tragedy turned into absurd mockery.

Obama Says Ground Zero Mosque Asserts Muslims' Religious Rights

Obama broke his silence regarding the controversial Ground Zero Mosque at a special Ramadan dinner held for Muslims at the White House on Friday. Obama stated that Muslims "have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country," Obama said, according to a White House transcript. "That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in Lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances."

Mayor Michael Bloomberg has turned out to be a huge disappointment, not only to conservatives, but to many New Yorkers, as he verbally applauded President Obama's defense of the mosque. In an official statement issued Friday evening, Mayor Bloomberg also spoke positively about the Ground Zero mosque, saying: "As I said last week, this proposed mosque and community center in Lower Manhattan is as important a test of the separation of church and state as we may see in our lifetime, and I applaud President Obama's clarion defense of the freedom of religion tonight."

Obama continues to succeed at being at odds with the majority of Americans on just about any topic, whether it concerns health care, politics, or religion. The vast majority of Americans (68%) are outraged about Muslims having the gall, and the legal right, to build a mosque near Ground Zero. This is a slap in the face to the relatives of those people who were unexpectedly and mercilessly murdered by Muslim (Jihad) terrorists on 9/11.

Oh, by the way, if Obama thinks Americans don't have the legal right to say the word "Muslim," "Jihad," or "Jihadist" before the word "terrorists," (another word on his politically incorrect list) he had better think again. Does he plan on changing Americans' right to freedom of speech? Is this one of the big "changes" Obama promised during his presidential campaign?

The truth is the truth, and the terrorists (yes, President Obama, there really are terrorists in the REAL world) who flew their airplanes into New York City's World Trade Center on 9/11 were Muslims. This is a fact, and no amount of politically correct editing of words will ever change the facts of what happened on that terrible day in American history. I applaud journalists Peter Nicholas and Julia Love, Tribune Washington Bureau, by the way, for not being afraid to use the words "Muslim terrorists" in their article.

The whole idea of building a Muslim mosque near Ground Zero is so ridiculous that it borders on the absurd. The absurdity and near-lunacy of liberal thinking is evident when political leaders unabashedly state that building a Muslim mosque in the same part of New York City where the World Trade Center once proudly stood is a legal right and a way to test the separation of church and state.

Christopher Hitchens: "How Am I? I'm Dying." (VIDEO)

Author Christopher Hitchens, an outspoken secular humanist atheist who wrote the best selling book “God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything,” is being medically treated for esophageal cancer. In a recent interview, Christopher Hitchens stated that even though he knows he is dying, he still won't knowingly turn to religion.

Hitchens said that any religious remarks or sentiments he might utter would be due to lunacy and fear caused by the cancer spreading to his brain, and added that it is possible he might say something indicating he is a religious believer, but that if he does utter these types of words, they would be spoken by someone he doesn't know or recognize. "The entity making such a remark might be a raving, terrified person whose cancer has spread to the brain. I can't guarantee that such an entity wouldn't make such a ridiculous remark, but no one recognizable as myself would ever make such a remark," he said.

Frugality Will Not Make You Rich

Can frugality make you rich? The time-tested art of frugality, or saving money by cutting all obvious corners, can certainly help anyone experiencing a personal economic crisis, but hyper-frugality is carrying frugality to an extreme that is almost laughable.

If you find yourself saving used pieces of tin foil after you used them in your oven, or you have a nasty habit of buying the unhealthiest food you can possibly find just because it's cheap, then you are practicing the dangerous art of hyper-frugality, and hyper-frugality is carrying frugality to the extreme.

Can hyper-frugality make you rich? By the example many wealthy people give, you would think this to be the case. However, the fact of the matter is that even though hyper-frugality will enable you to save more money each month, being hyper-frugal will definitely not make you rich.

Investing in stocks or mutual funds might help you to get rich, but if you don't invest wisely, you could literally lose every single penny you currently own. Don't invest any money you can't afford to lose. If you can afford to lose some money, do your research before investing any of your hard earned dollars.

If you learn the knack of buying low and selling high, and you are capable of not going into an emotional selling frenzy every time the stock market goes down, you actually could become a successful investor, and add extra money to your savings account.

Although many people seek financial wealth, being wealthy is not necessarily the most wonderful thing that can happen to a person. For some people, having too much money becomes an almost unbearable burden. Philanthropists enjoy giving money away, and this act of unselfish kindness is to the benefit of all lucky recipients.

It is far better to count your blessings instead of money. Blessings are free gifts from God, don't cost a cent, and help to make a person's life, both inner and outer, richer in the truest sense of the word.

Abraham Lincoln's Republican Tenets Are Still True Today

Do the Republican tenets held by President Abraham Lincoln still stand true today? Republicans have always taken a stand against racism, slavery, high taxes, and abusive governmental power. Republicans have always fought for the rights of the individual. The Republican Party or GOP today is still in harmony with Abraham Lincoln's basic Republican principles. Abe Lincoln was a Republican, not a Democrat. Abe Lincoln was a political conservative, not a leftist liberal.

It is important to remember the fact that Abe Lincoln was a Republican, because people need to know, and fully understand, that it is not Democrats but Republicans, as representatives of the Republican Party, who have always been the people in government who especially opposed and abhorred liberal thought regarding the acceptance of slavery, the raising of personal income taxes, and the idea of government taking care of people instead of people governing themselves and their own lives. Yes, President Abraham Lincoln's Republican tenets really are still true today.

Bush on Ted Stevens: " Ted served our country with great distinction."

President George W. Bush issued a Facebook status message on his Facebook wall today regarding the death of Alaska Senator Ted Stevens, and others, in Monday's tragic Alaskan airplane crash. President Bush said that "Ted served our country with great distinction." President Bush also said that he and former First Lady Laura Bush are praying for, and send their condolences to, the survivors' families.

Ted Stevens was 86 years old. Ironically, Stevens was a survivor of an airplane crash that occurred in 1978. Ted Stevens was also a World War II pilot who had received military decorations. Ted Stevens served the United States as a Republican Senator for 40 years.
