Santorum Answers Questions at Town Hall Teleconference

I recently attended a live, one hour political telethon during which Rick Santorum answered questions. The political teleconference focused on the 2012 presidential election, and it was held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, January 5, 2012. The Presidential Series National Tele-Town Hall was sponsored by the Faith and Freedom Coalition, and my attendance was the result of an accepted invitation from a Facebook group I belong to called Conservative Republican Women.

Rick Santorum takes the time to answer questions during a hectic day in New Hampshire

Rick Santorum was late for the meeting because over 1,000 voters attended his New Hampshire rally that same day, and the senator stayed on a bit to answer questions before joining in on the teleconference. Those who attended the conference were instructed to press the star key, followed by the number three, on their telephones if they wanted to ask any questions. While waiting for Rick Santorum to join the group of several thousand interested individuals, a campaign representative politely answered some of the questions addressed to the Santorum campaign. Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum then joined the teleconference and replied to questions posed by various attendants.

Rick Santorum wrote the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban bill

The fact that Rick Santorum authored the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban bill, which was signed by President George W. Bush, was mentioned by one of the sponsors of the teleconference. This bill was designed to ban partial birth abortions. This Republican presidential candidate previously served in the House of Representatives and was the Senate Republican Conference Chairman. He also authored a bestselling book entitled It Takes a Family. Rick Santorum is the proud father of seven children, so this is a man who really does care about families and family values. His answers to questions were truthful, humble, yet filled with confidence. At the close of the Presidential Series National Tele-Town Hall, he asked those attending the conference to pray for him, his wife Karen and his family. He also personally invited voters who wish to offer him assistance during his presidential campaign to visit his personal website.

Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum practically tied the Iowa Republican Caucus on January 3, 2012, with Mitt Romney receiving receiving 24.6 percent of the vote and Rick Santorum receiving 24.5 percent. Mitt Romney is also a family man who is married to Ann, his high school sweetheart, and they are the proud parents of five sons and the grandparents of ten grandchildren. Both Romney and Santorum appear to have integrity, sound values and excellent Republican tenets by which they live their lives. Either one of these candidates far surpasses any requirements for a U.S. President who truly loves the United States of America.

Republican Debaters, Waterboarding and Foreign Policy

Viewing the South Carolina Republican debate on November 12, 2011, made me proud to identify with Republicans. The debaters, who included Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry, Herman Cain, Michelle Bachmann, Rick Santorum, Jon Huntsman and last, but not least, the eccentric, and somewhat out of place, Ron Paul, were civil and respectful toward one another. The debate focused mainly on foreign policy, including topics pertaining to terrorists, security and torture. The issue of whether waterboarding is or is not a form of torture was discussed.

A close relative, who is not by an means a conservative, told me he watched the South Carolina Republican debate last night, and that he thought it was a good debate. This speaks volumes in favor of the Republican nominees, who displayed perfect manners, even in the midst of situations less than perfect. For example, at the beginning of the debate, Scott Pelley mistakenly informed Mitt Romney that his 60 seconds had expired and that he could not finish his statement. Former Massachusetts governor and 2008 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney fought back in polite verbal terms when he asserted that he still had 30 remaining seconds. As it turned out, Mitt Romney actually did have 30 remaining seconds and was then allowed to finish his statement.

The debate was interesting and lively, and there were no dull moments of which to mention. A discussion about whether or not waterboarding constitutes terrorism offered interesting viewpoints from the various Republican debaters during the November 12 Republican debate held in South Carolina. Anyone, whether a Republican, Libertarian, Independent or Democrat, could not help noticing that these honorable contenders for the 2012 Presidential Election demonstrated that the security of America is best protected by conservative leaders.

Think About the Value of Time For a Wise Solution

Clocks continue to tick away the seconds, minutes and hours as constant reminders that time never stops. When individuals think about their lives, they need to consider the significance of time. Every person who lives has tremendous value. The opportunity to view time as an enemy or a friend presents itself to every man, woman, boy and girl. The latter option, choosing time as a friend, often influences persons to reach certain measures of success in their lives.

Value the importance of time by refraining from the frivolous waste of precious moments in life. Prayer and deep introspection frequently yield new insights into problems that seem impossible to solve. Every bad situation has a good solution, and those who take the time to seek wise solutions benefit from spending their time wisely. Whether the problem revolves around an economic crisis, including a stock or mutual fund investment, a job or a new location, the careful consideration of all options serves to help an individual make a better decision.

Freddie Mercury's 65th Birthday: Freddie's Time Ran Out Too Soon

Yesterday, September 5, 2011, was Labor Day and also Freddie Mercury's birthday. The popular and immensely talented Freddie Mercury, whose real name was Farrokh Bulsara, was born on Thursday, September 5, 1946. Freddie Mercury would have turned 65 years old yesterday if he had not died an untimely death due to AIDS on November 24, 1991.

Freddie Mercury was the lead singer of the rock group Queen. Freddie's excellent singing voice, combined with his sometimes whimsical and often powerful performances, made him one of the most popular rock stars of all time, and the fascination with Freddie Mercury's life and death continues to this day. If Freddie had not died at such a young age, who knows what other amazing things he might have accomplished in his life?

Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, who is also the former Governor of Massachusetts, has 59 definite ideas he wants to introduce to get the American economy rolling again, and Mitt Romney plans carrying out 10 of these proposals in a concrete way as soon as he is elected. Mitt Romney believes that entrepreneurs and investors, rather than the United States government, need to create more jobs to stimulate the economy.

In reference to President Barack Obama's views on the betterment of the economic crisis in America, Mitt Romney said the following: "The contrast between what the Obama administration has done and what I would do as president could not be starker."

Mitt Romney plans to reveal his entire jobs plan to help the United States economy on Tuesday, September 5, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

An earthquake hit the Los Angeles, California area at approximately 1:45 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Thursday, September 1, 2011. I was writing an article with the help of my trusted laptop computer on the first day of the new month when I suddenly felt the entire room shake. I also heard a significantly loud booming sound that was a bit unnerving.

I have experienced more than one Southern California earthquake in the past to recognize a Los Angeles earthquake when it happens, and either this was a real, down-to-earth earthquake, or else a giant meteor and/or scientifically cloned prehistoric dinosaur just landed on the top of my roof. * In fact, you can read my detailed description of the Los Angeles earthquake I personally experienced in August of 2007 on this site.

The Following Los Angeles Earthquake Story Is Based On A True Experience.

Early in the morning, on Thursday, August 9, 2007, at approximately 12:58 AM, there was a 4.5 earthquake in the Los Angeles, California area, where I live. I had just finished answering comments to some of my posts, and shutting down my computer. Suddenly, about ten minutes later, while getting ready for bed, the entire bathroom floor was shaking beneath my feet. I was standing by the sink when it happened, and grabbed onto the edge for support.

That's how badly the room was shaking, folks. I thought for a moment that the toilet (am I allowed to say that word, or is it politically incorrect?) was going to be ripped out of the wall. The glass shower doors were rattling, and a quick thought flashed in my mind that they were going to shatter any minute. The entire room was literally shaking. I could hear a low rumbling sound like thunder. If thunder had a face, the above description is what it would look like. This lasted for at least 10 seconds, maybe longer. In fact, all of the rooms were shaking, and it seemed as though the windows might break at any minute.

A fleeting thought entered my mind that this was breaking news, and that maybe I should log back into my computer and write a post, but I was too tired. A few minutes later, breaking news was reported on the radio, but it took several more minutes before any of the television stations picked it up, and the only one that I saw reporting it was Fox News. Even then, it was only an automated report. The other stations just continued to play their mediocre television shows with no interruptions. One of the radio announcers stated that a 4.5 earthquake was powerful enough to shatter glass. Luckily, I did not have to deal with that problem. My computer monitor was forced back against the wall in an upward tilted position. One of my stereo speakers had taken a left turn.

For those of you who have never experienced an earthquake, this is what I have to say. I can somehow sense God's presence in an earthquake, and it is both terrifying an awesome at the same time. I repeat to you what I have written before: don't waste your time, don't procrastinate, and try to be happy. One never knows when a huge earthquake of one kind or another (remember 9/11?) will wreak havoc everywhere.

The economy is not the master of your life. Although money problems are plentiful in today's economic crisis around the globe, it is important to remember that every person has certain gifts and skills that can lead to a profitable income. Self-employment is an option that many unemployed persons never think about, but self-employment is a valid option, and many individuals work out of their own homes. In fact, the writer and publisher of this website works out of her own home, etching out a humble living as an independent writer on a secondhand laptop computer.

The conservative way of looking at life includes all facets of life, whether those aspects concern family values, religion, philosophy, health or money. Conservative principles, upon which the Republican party is based, concern self-reliance and independence. Liberals like to brag about their nonconformist attitudes towards society, but it is actually conservatives who are the true nonconformists. The economy, no matter how bleak, eventually recovers, and, in the meantime, begin to explore other avenues and prospects that offer you an entirely new outlook on your life. A new avenue often leads to a new career.

Romney Still Wins Hearts of NH Voters in NH GOP Primary

Mitt Romney is the top Republican presidential contender in the New Hampshire primary. Recent survey results conducted by New Hampshire Magellan Data and Mapping Strategies on Tuesday, August 15th, and Wednesday, August 16th, indicate that Mitt Romney is even a good deal ahead of Rick Perry.

According to the Magellan survey, Mitt Romney received favorable opinions equaling 66 percent, Paul Ryan received favorable opinions of 51 percent and Ron Paul only received favorable opinions equaling 39 percent.

The voters were asked who they would vote for if the 2012 Republican Presidential primary election were to take place now, and Mitt Romney received 36 percent of the potential votes, in comparison to Rick Perry's 18 percent. All of the other Republican presidential hopefuls received even less potential votes, with Ron Paul maxing out at 14 percent and Michele Bachmann at only 10 percent.

The New Hampshire voters were also asked if they were familiar with the results of the Ames Straw Poll in Iowa this past weekend, and 86 percent indicated that they were familiar with the poll. Then they were asked what kind of impact the Ames Straw Poll had on their vote for a particular Republican presidential candidate, and only four percent of the New Hampshire folks answered, "a lot."

Perhaps many Republican voters are going to learn their lessons about Mormon bias in the 2008 presidential election. Even though there were top Republican conservative Christians that endorsed Mitt Romney in the 2008 election, the general bias against Mormons, or Latter-Day Saints, on the part of many Christian voters was largely responsible for the fact that former Governor of Massachusetts Mitt Romney, a Latter-Day Saint, never had a chance to actually run against Barack Obama.

It needs mentioning, though, that several GOP members are hoping for Paul Ryan's entrance into the presidential race, but Paul Ryan has not yet announced whether he intends to run for U.S. President in the 2012 election. Paul Ryan's decision, if it is a yes, is bound to create an interesting twist to the 2012 presidential election plot, at least as far as Republicans are concerned.

The 2012 Republican presidential primary race draws closer, and the
question as to whether Paul Ryan is the Republican presidential
candidate headed for the White House arises. Is Paul Ryan the new Ronald
Reagan? Is Paul Ryan the Republican who can save America's economic
crisis with his innovative Ryanomics that apply to today's economic
budget woes?

There are those in the GOP who want the

economic genius, Wisconsin Republican congressman Paul Ryan, to run for
president, including Indiana governor Mitch Daniels, who stated during a
telephone interview Wednesday
morning, "If there were a Paul Ryan fan club, I'd be a national
officer." Jeb Bush, the 43rd governor of Florida, and the younger
brother of former U.S. President George W. Bush, also believes in Paul
Ryan's abilities. Jeb Bush stated that, "Paul Ryan would be a formidable candidate."

Republicans need to make sure the right person is in the race if America

is to receive relief from President Barack Obama's highly questionable
leadership skills. Paul Ryan has not made any official announcements to
date that he intends to run for president in 2012, but Wisconsin
Republican congressman Paul Ryan seems to have the vision and clarity
that might qualify him as a person who is capable of solving the current
economic crisis in America.

When Will Obama Release Osama bin Laden Death Photos?

Barack Obama has declared that al Queda Leader and Muslim terrorist Osama bin Laden is dead, but it is somewhat disturbing that the proof of this historical event is being hidden from the American people and from the world. Americans have a right to see all photos, videos, and documents pertaining to Osama bin Laden's death. Many Americans want to see the photos. The families of those who were killed on 9/11 are asking President Obama to release the death photos of Osama bin Laden.

Nevertheless, U.S. President Barack Obama deserves respect and congratulations for accomplishing the demise of Osama bin Laden. Special thanks and appreciation go to the highly skilled U.S. Navy SEAL team, or Sea, Air and Land team, for their courageous storming of Osama bin Laden's Abbottabad, Pakistan compound. It should also be noted that President George W. Bush is the U.S. President who initiated the pursuit of Osama bin Laden during his presidency, and all Americans need to be grateful to him for his efforts and determination.

President Obama, the issue of not releasing photos depicting the death of al Queda leader and terrorist Osama bin Laden is not one of disbelief. It is the erroneous viewpoint that the U.S. President has the right to decide whether or not it is good or bad for Americans to see the evidence. Imagine a journalist who reports an extraordinary news story without showing any photos or documents. This journalist would not be respected and the journalist's credentials would be questioned. Barack Obama has greater authority than a journalist.

Osama bin Laden, the Muslim terrorist who perpetrated the atrocities on 9/11, is dead. This is a relief to many individuals. Osama bin Laden was responsible for the deaths of approximately 3,000 Americans on September 11, 2001. When journalists recently announced that Osama bin Laden was finally captured and killed, people expected to see photos. President Obama, please do the right thing and release the Osama bin Laden death photos without any further delay so that everyone can experience closure.

I recently read British journalist Hadley Freeman's article published on the British website, guardian.co.uk (Donald Trump: the Republican's only hope). In this article, the journalist refers to both Fox News and Donald Trump as being "monsters" who are akin to Mary Shelley's monster (I prefer the word "creature").

The author discusses the potential of Donald Trump (whom she refers to as being a "birther") as a 2012 US Republican presidential candidate pitted against the current United States President, Democrat Barack Obama. Palestinian Intifada Uprising Page Against Israel Returns To Facebook

The Palestinian Facebook Third Palestinian Intifada Uprising Page is now back on Facebook with a new name, http://www.facebook.com/Rassoul.Allaah. I recently wrote and published two blog posts regarding the Facebook Third Palestinian Intifada page that just will not go away. Facebook removed the original page, but has failed to remove this new Palestinian page and linked Facebook Palestinian pages that are mentioned on this Palestinian site.

The Palestinian Rassoul.Allaah Facebook page states, at the top of the page, that the page represents a Non-Profit Organization. (Is this some kind of loophole attempt to keep the page on Facebook? Are Non-Profit Organizations exempt from Facebook Hate Rules?) Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg needs to stay on top of this potentially dangerous situation, as this page boasts over 3 million Likes and the motive of this Palestinian group is to annihilate Israel (so much for so-called bogus Non-Profit Organizations).

Warning: If you do visit this Facebook Palestinian Intifada Uprising anti-Israel page in order to report it to Facebook, your name will appear, in your own native language, at the top of the page. The Arabic words above your name translate, using the Google translate tool, as "Hello you." YIKES! This really gave me the creeps when I saw my name at the top of their page. Whatever you do, DO NOT CLICK THE FACEBOOK "LIKE" ICON on this page!

Baltic Sea Message In A Bottle Connects Strangers

Twenty-four years ago, a letter in a bottle was tossed into the Baltic Sea by a five-year-old German child named Frank Uesbeck . The message in the bottle stated these simple words: "My name is Frank, and I'm five years old. My dad and I are traveling on a ship to Denmark. If you find this letter, please write back to me, and I will write back to you."

Amazingly, Daniil Korotkikh, a thirteen year old Russian teenager, recently saw this same bottle while he was walking on a beach, picked it up, and saw a message in the bottle. The five year old child named Frank Uesbeck is now twenty-nine years old and still lives at the same exact address in Coesfeld, Germany. Commentary: Who would have thought that a letter inserted into a bottle by a five-year-old German child would be discovered by a thirteen-year-old Russian teenager 24 years later? This story demonstrates the fact that truth can indeed be stranger than fiction. Who would have thought that a message inserted into a bottle by a five-year-old German child would be discovered by a thirteen-year-old Russian teenager 24 years later?

Furthermore, who would have thought that these two strangers would eventually become acquaintances? What are the chances of something like this occurring? My guess would be that the odds of something like this happening would be about 1 in 1 million. God can answer prayers, and a little five-year-old boy's hope or prayer that someone would find his letter in a bottle has been answered. This is something for atheists and agnostics to ponder.

Arizona Will Not Allow Race or Gender Abortions

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed a statute on Tuesday that will outlaw any abortions connected with race or gender issues. Arizona is the first state in the United States of America to pass this type of anti-abortion law.

According to the new Arizona statute signed by Arizona Republican Governor Jan Brewer, if a doctor or nurse performs an abortion within the state of Arizona because the parents of the fetus preferred a boy instead of a girl, the doctor or nurse will be guilty of committing a felony. Likewise, if a doctor or nurse performs an abortion within the state of Arizona because the parents of the fetus preferred a girl instead of a boy, the doctor or nurse will be committing a felony.

The same rule applies to performing abortions because the parents of an unborn baby do not happen to like the potential baby's race. Under the new Arizona law, women who have abortions for the above reasons will also be held legally responsible, and these women will be punished for their crimes. The Arizona law has been condemned by Planned Parenthood, known for its feminist pro-choice viewpoint.

Commentary: Kudos and more kudos to Arizona Governor Jan Brewer, who happens to be a Republican, for having the chutzpa to be the first governor in America who signed a statute making abortions due to gender or race an illegal criminal act. This event is even more significant because Republican Arizona Governor Jan Brewer is not only a member of the Republican Party, but also a woman.

Jan Brewer is definitely the kind of woman the Bible calls a "Virtuous Woman." * (See The King James Version of the Holy Bible, Proverbs 31:10-31.) The term "virtuous woman"is known in the Jewish religion as "A Woman of Valor." The Hebrew words for A Woman of Valor are Eshet Chayil. In Judaism, Proverbs 31:10-31 is sung in Hebrew by a Jewish husband to his Jewish wife on the Sabbath every Friday night. I have personally attended Sabbath celebrations at homes of Orthodox Jews and witnessed this beautiful custom.

Facebook Removes Third Palestinian Intifada Page

Due to growing pressure from outraged individuals, the Facebook Third Palestinian Intifada Uprising page was removed on Tuesday. However, the Palestinians behind the first page have now put up a new Facebook page called Third Palestinian Intifada, which is, coincidentally, the same exact title of the original page!

On Monday, I published a blog post regarding the infamous Facebook Third Palestinian Intifada page and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg's refusal to remove this Facebook page which called for the annihilation of Israel. In case you missed it, here is the link to Monday's blog post:

Palestinians On Facebook Plan Third Intifada Uprising Against Israel

A Palestinian activist group has set up a new Facebook page threatening to wage a Third Palestinian Intifada (Intifada means Uprising) against Israel beginning May 15, 2011. This Third Palestinian Infitada Facebook page calls the modern state of Israel a "catastrophe." Several Jewish organizations, including the Anti-Defamation League, have asked Facebook to remove the page, but Facebook is not going to remove this threatening page.

Yuli Edelstein, the Israel Minister of Public Diplomacy and Diaspora Affairs, personally asked Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook's CEO, to remove the Third Palestinian Infitada Facebook Page, but Facebook will not budge in its defiant liberal decision to allow the page to remain on Facebook. This is in spite of the fact that Yuli Edelstein pointed out to Mark Zuckerberg that the page promotes the murdering of Jews and the complete annihilation of Israel.

I reported the Third Palestinian Page as a targeted racist page to Facebook, but I fear this will be to no avail. The Palestinian Page threatens to boycott Facebook if Facebook dares to shut down their page! I really do not understand why Facebook is concerned about whether or not the anti-Jewish and anti-Israeli Third Palestinian Intifada page is boycotted.

Is it the ads? Are Palestinian advertisements making a lot of money for Mark Zuckerberg? Does Mark Zuckerberg really need any money that is generated from a Facebook page that demands the destruction of Israel? No, Mark Zuckerberg does not need any more money because Mark Zuckerberg is a very wealthy young man. Facebook, you ought to be ashamed!!

This is an outrage!! If Facebook had existed during the German reign of Adolph Hitler, and Mark Zuckerberg was the CEO at that time, I suppose Mark Zuckerberg would have refused to remove a Facebook page that asked everyone in the world to get involved in the Nazi's plans to murder all of the Jews. Would a Facebook page boasting about the Nazi concentration camps and their gas chambers have remained on Facebook? I'm afraid the sad truth of the matter is that the answer to these questions is Yes!

Mitt Romney finished second in the recent 2011 Straw Poll, and Ron Paul, sorry to say, was the winner. Here are a few of the statistics of voting percentages in the most recent Straw Poll: Ron Paul received 30% of the vote, Mitt Romney received 23% of the vote, Chris Christie received 6% of the vote, Newt Gingrich received 5% of the vote, Sarah Palin received 3% of the vote, Michele Bachmann received 4% of the vote, Rich Santorum received 2% of the vote and Mike Huckabee received 2% of the vote.

Why Ron Paul? Does anyone have the answer? I really want to know what the attraction is to this rather eccentric fellow! To all Ron Paul fans: please share your thoughts and comments.
