Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani told other Christians not to fear his possible execution in Tehran, Iran, because he receives strength from these words spoken by Jesus: "'Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.'" The article does not state what President Obama's response was when he was asked for his help in this grave matter.
Author's Comment: I find it interesting that Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani has the courage to state that he believes Muhammad is the prophet of Muslims, but he does not believe Muhammad is a messenger from God. I also find it interesting that the article is completely silent about any response having been made by President Obama. In doing a brief Google Search, I was not able to find any mention about Obama's response. The silence is deafening.
