How To Escape Obama's Health Care Plan: Join The Amish Or Convert To Islam

In light of media coverage proclaiming that President Obama's new Health Care Plan is to cover 94-95% of Americans, I have been wondering who the other 5-6% might be. I thought about the Amish. They don't believe in health insurance, but prefer to take care of each other when in need or ill, which is a Christian concept, and part of their strict Christian faith.

I respect the Amish, although I don't agree with some of their tenets. At least they are a peacable people, and generally don't go around physically harming others. On my Townhall.com weblog I previously wrote and published a post about the Amish being exempt from the Military. *See Link To This Post Below.

I have also been wondering about Christian Scientists who, based on their religious beliefs, generally don't believe in going to doctors at all, but rely on their own internal Christian Scientist practitioners. Will they be exempt also?

I have now been alerted to a post published today on American Thinker about the Amish being exempt, due to their religious beliefs, from the new Obama Administration Health Care Plan. Christian Scientists are not mentioned in this particular article, but Orthodox Muslims are! And this has to be the epitomy of nonsensical political correctness within the logic of those who invented this extremely controversial Health Care Plan.

Anyone who lives in the vicinity of Los Angeles, California, which includes myslef, is quite aware of the fact that there are a large number of Muslim doctors in this area who definitely accept medical insurance. My guess is they're not Orthodox Muslims. In fact, the American Thinker post states: "Whether it's all right to serve as a doctor, nurse, or orderly caring for patients whose medical services are being paid for by insurance is not covered in the present response ... "

To quote the American Thinker article:

It says in Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa'imah (15/251):

"In Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa'imah (15/277) there is a quotation of a statement of the Council of Senior Scholars concerning the prohibition on insurance and why it is haraam:

Firstly: Commercial insurance of all types is haraam because it involves ambiguity, riba, uncertainty, gambling and consuming people's wealth unlawfully, and other shar'i

Secondly: It is not permissible for the Muslim to get involved with insurance companies by working in administration or otherwise, because working in them comes under the heading of cooperating in sin and transgression, and Allaah forbids that as He says: "but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allaah. Verily, Allaah is Severe in punishment"
[al-Maa'idah 5:2]. End quote. 1

U.S. Economy And Political Machinations Of Obama Health Care Plan In America

The U.S. economy will suffer due to the political machinations of President Barack Obama, and his politically leftist Democratic Congress passing of Obama's Health Care Bill, which has left many Americans feeling fear, confusion, doubt, sorrow, and anger.

Forcing policies upon American citizens against their wills, policies that are not guaranteed rights in the United States Constitution or Bill of Rights, as far as I know, is unconstitutional. This is just one of many sharp contrasts between Democrats and Republicans. Democrats believe in Big Government, and its ability to govern the lives of Americans; Republicans believe in Americans, and their ability to largely govern their own lives.

What the Obama Administration has done should be recognized by the United States Supreme Court as being unconstitutional, and, consequently, illegal. The United States Congress has crossed the line of democracy. At least a dozen attorneys, representing twelve states, are planning to sue the Federal government over President Obama's Health Care Plan.

If creating a National Health Insurance Plan was the #1 top priority in the mind of Barack Obama and his Administration, it should have been accomplished without the use of "force," and without getting the IRS involved in this "force" factor.

Creating 16,000 jobs within the IRS, for the main purpose of penalizing and policing Americans who either can't afford, or simply are not interested in, Obama's National Health Plan, for whatever reasons, is not the way to help the American economy.

Obama To Sign Healthcare Bill Using 20 Different Pens

I don't know what the reasoning is behind President Obama's signing the Healthcare Bill with 20 different pens. *See Below For Newly Published Information As To Reasons Why Obama Used 20 Different Pens To Sign Healthcare Bill. Updated On Wednesday, March 24, 2010.

In addition to members of Congress, there will also be additional Americans, private citizens, who have been invited to the signing ceremony to talk about how they will personally benefit from Obama's Healthplan:

*March 24, 2010 Update:

Reason #1: "Many American presidents have changed pens for the documents they sign. These pens are then given as gifts to diplomats, dignitaries, museums, other senators and other distinguished persons." from http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_did_Obama_use_many_different_pens_in_signing_a_bill

Reason #2: "He was continuing a long-standing White House tradition for approving important legislation."

"The pens are 'a way of giving a very meaningful memento to the people who played a significant role in passing the legislation,' said Mark Peterson, a professor of public policy and political science at UCLA."

"Obama kept a pen for himself after signing the bill, and 19 pens were given out as mementos. Two will go to his presidential archives."

Pens play a role in signing of healthcare legislation

Obama Signs Healthcare Bill - America Now Belongs To Socialists

Obama has signed the Healthcare Bill -- it's official. America is now becoming a Socialist country thanks to President Barack Obama (Democrat), perhaps the most leftist liberal U.S. President in American history.

"Obama paid tribute to what he called the 'historic leadership and uncommon courage' of the members of Congress who pushed ahead with the measure amid the often heated debate. He also hailed the new law, saying it helps lift a 'decades-long drag' on the economy." 1

"Shortly after Obama signed the bill, mostly Republican attorneys general from 13 states said they are suing the federal government to stop the health care overhaul, arguing that the provision that requires Americans to carry health insurance is unconstitutional. Experts say the effort will likely fail because the U.S. Constitution states that federal law supersedes state laws, but the legal challenge may keep the issue fresh in the mind of voters come November." 1

"Now the president must sell the law's merits to a wary American public." 1

"The next act begins Thursday, when Obama visits Iowa City, Iowa, where he announced his health care plan as a presidential candidate in May 2007. There Obama plans to talk about how the new law will help lower health care costs for small businesses and families, selling the overhaul to Americans who are deeply divided over the plan." 1

"The House passed the 10-year, $938 billion bill Sunday night after a rancorous debate. Not one Republican voted for the bill. Some Democrats also voted against it." 1

FEMA Concentration Camps: One More Conspiracy Theory For Truthers

The FEMA Concentration Camps conspiracy theory is on the rise again. "In April of 2009, PM editor-in-chief James Meigs appeared on Glenn Beck's FOX news program twice to debunk conspiracy theories regarding supposed 'concentration camps' being built by the Federal Emergency Management Agency." 1

The facts, however, as in the 9/11 conspiracy theories, and all conspiracy theories are as follows: conspiracy theories, myths and hoaxes only exist in the clever, manipulative minds of their inventors, the conspiracy theorists. On the other hand, debunkers, people who go about debunking myths and conspiracy theories, prove that the imaginary inventions in the minds of conspiracy theorists are false. Experts who practice the art of debunking conspiracy theories expose their falsehood for all the world to see.

Here is one example:

See the photo of a supposed FEMA concentration camp in Wyoming. It is, in reality, a satellite image of a North Korean Forced Labor Camp.

The creators of conspiracy theories have their own agenda, and it is just like this: Creators of conspiracy theories want to convert the minds of everyone to their way of thinking, often for purposes of leftist political manipulation. Unfortunately, there are enough naive and gullible people who are ready and willing to believe almost anything (truthers) and will believe almost anything, especially if it contradicts the political right. This includes those people who claim to be conservatives, including Ron Paul supporters and some libertarians.

1. North Korea/Wyoming
detention center

CLAIM: "There is a minimum of one confirmed
concentration camp built on American soil in rural Wyoming. " The (Department of
Homeland Security) accidentally placed these photos on a publicly accessible
portion of their website " (but) they were pulled within one hour. " The images
are not gone forever though."

FACT: These actually are
legitimate images of "forced-labor colonies, camps, and prisons"—in North Korea.
The images were taken from "The Hidden Gulag: Exposing North Korea's Prison
Camps," a report prepared by the Washington D.C.-based Committee for Human
Rights in North Korea. Then someone manipulated the headers, photo dates and
annotations.

Myths and Hoaxes are not real. Conspiracy theories have already been debunked by experts who have exposed their falsehood. To believe in something that is not real just because you don't happen to agree with conservatives is not wise. The creators of conspiracy theories use the prejudices that leftists harbor against conservatives to their advantage, distorting the truth and making it seem true to those who already want to believe that something "else" must be the real answer.

The obsessive compulsion to believe that President George W. Bush, his Republican cabinet, and the American government caused 9/11 is a perfect example. Truthers, or those who believe in myths, hoaxes and conspiracy theories, believe this lie about Bush, Republicans and America -- truthers believe that the conspiracy theory must be the answer, instead of the obvious, and very real, answer, i.e., that Muslim Jihadist terrorists caused the murderous events of 9/11.

"Truthers", the name popularly used for those who believe in, and propagate, conspiracy theories, are unwilling to learn the real truth about any conspiracy theories they have accepted. Conspiracy theories are almost a religious doctrine for them. The irony of the word "truthers" is that truthers do not believe in truth. Instead, truthers believe in myths, hoaxes, conspiracy theories and lies. Do not become the victim of a conspiracy theorist. Do not believe in a hoax. Believe in the truth.

I have come to the conclusion that the unwillingness of truthers to comprehend the truth, even when presented with facts and scientific evidence that have been presented by professional debunkers, is a serious Catch-22 situation. Truthers want to believe in myths, hoaxes and conspiracy theories. Truthers do not want anyone to contradict the "pretend" facts they religiously adhere to, because the conspiracy theorists tell them that even the facts themselves are conspiracies.

Romney On Detroit: ""I am not open to a bailout, but I am open to a work-out."

Mitt Romney, former Governor of Massachusetts, a Mormon (Latter-Day Saint), and one of the top 2008 Republican presidential candidates, is currently "widely considered to be a 2012 presidential contender," according to a November 24 ABC News article. Romney also said what some considered to be shocking remarks about the bailout of the auto industry in Detroit, Michigan.

"Romney is strongly opposed to the auto industry's request for $25 billion in low-interest loans. He is calling for management shakeups inside the companies as they engage in extensive economic restructuring, and is recommending bankruptcy or similar legal arrangements for America's auto giants."

"'Just sending a check and hoping for the best is not the right choice,'" Romney told ABC News.com Friday, in between campaign stops in Georgia, where he was campaigning for Sen. Saxby Chambliss' re-election.

"'Simply patting the sick patient on the back and saying don't worry, everything will be fine -- that is not the right course for the auto industry,'" Romney said.

"In January, he delivered a speech to the Detroit Economic Club that included this line: "'I am not open to a bailout, but I am open to a work-out.'"
'That's what I said then; that's what I'm saying now,'" Romney said Friday.

Obama and McCain Believe Americans Want Leaders To "Change the Bad Habits of Washington"

President-Elect Barack Obama and Senator John McCain issued a joint statement after their Chicago meeting today, November 17.

"'At this defining moment in history, we believe that Americans of all parties want and need their leaders to come together and change the bad habits of Washington so that we can solve the common and urgent challenges of our time.'"

"'It is in this spirit that we had a productive conversation today about the need to launch a new era of reform where we take on government waste and bitter partisanship in Washington in order to restore trust in government, and bring back prosperity and opportunity for every hardworking American family,'" it said. "'We hope to work together in the days and months ahead on critical challenges like solving our financial crisis, creating a new energy economy, and protecting our nation's security.'" 1

President-Elect Barack Obama Is Late For First Press Conference

Did anyone else notice that President-Elect Barack Obama was approximately 23 minutes late for his first official Press Conference this morning? It was supposed to start at 11:30 AM on the West Coast, but he did not walk out before the cameras, according to my clock, until 11:53 AM. His current team of advisers stood there patiently waiting for him to appear.

I wonder what the problem was in the long delay? After all, time is supposed to be money, as the old saying goes, so one would think that the newly elected president Barack Obama would have been on time, especially since this conference focused on the current economic crisis facing America. He seemed composed enough, his usual unusually calm demeanor manifest for all the world to see, so speculation will get us nowhere.
