Take Two Aspirins and Contact the Wordsmith

Question: What is the definition of a wordsmith?

Answer: Answers.com states that a wordsmith is: "A fluent and prolific writer, especially one who writes professionally." "An expert on words." "A person who works with words; a skillful writer."

All of the above are true, and yet there is more to being a wordsmith, at least according to my interpretation of the word . . .

Open Letter to Dairus Dugger, Winner of The 2009 Frivolous Lawsuit Award???

Dear Mr. Dairus Dugger,

Perhaps you should consider changing your name from Dairus Dugger to Dairus Digger, Gold Digger, that is, due to filing such a frivolous lawsuit against Burger King.

It is indeed sad that so many Americans are now suffering severe economic losses. Maybe this applies to you. If that is the case, there has to be a better way of earning your living. Don't you think that everyone who has any common sense at all (even the most severe liberal) knows that you could not possibly have suffered a "severe allergic reaction" from either pickles, onions, or tomatoes?

Besides all that, even if you happen to be one out of 100,000,000,000 people that truly did suffer this strange malady, why did you not file your lawsuit until two years later? If you had suffered that greatly, it would seem that you would have sued in a timely manner. After all, it's been about two years (April 10, 2007) since the alleged incident occurred.

Are you seeking fame, Mr. Dugger? Is that what this is about? The extremely wealthy King Solomon wrote in Proverbs 22:1 that "A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold." - The Online King James Bible, Proverbs 22:1

Burger King Sued By Pickle-Hater Dairus Dugger

Dairus Dugger had the audacity to sue a Burger King restaurant for adding pickles, onions, and tomatoes to his burger. According to the Virginian Pilot newspaper, Mr. Dugger requested that these items not be included.

It's should be enough that the lawsuit in itself is laughable beyond words, but there's more to this story. Please note that the incident occurred on April 10, 2007, two years ago! "Dairus Dugger is seeking $100,000 in damages after alleging that the restaurant in James City County, Virginia, failed to heed his 'specific request for the omission of onions, pickles and tomatoes.'"
