CONSERVATIVE BLOGGER ADVISES ANTI-AMERICAN ''FREE THINKING" LIBERALS TO MOVE TO MIDDLE EAST

If you believe in 9/11 Conspiracy Theories, then you are a "Truther," and I totally disagree with Truthers. There is a great deal of unbiased, scientific evidence proving 9/11 Conspiracy Theories to be completely false, and it is quite comprehensive in its scope.

Besides the scientific evidence, our government, under the leadership of President George W. Bush, would not have wanted to destroy America, or Americans, and the very thought of that is completely absurd.

I don't believe our country killed anyone in the name of religion. You have that backwards. It is the Islamic Jihadist Terrorists, in the name of their Muslim, or Islamic religion, that attacked America, and killed thousands of innocent victims. Our retaliation was not one of religion, but of self-defense.

As for Rush Limbaugh, I happen to like the guy, and certainly would not want a friend who advocates physical violence against him. (Do you really think this is an example of a "free thinking individual", by the way -- to say that you would like to beat up Rush Limbaugh simply because you disagree with him? This has to be an example of a person who has no comprehension of what a "free thinking individual" is.

At the beginning of your message, you stated that you are a "free thinking individual." If you are really as "free thinking" as you suppose yourself to be, then why would you believe in Conspiracy Theories, physical punishment for President George W. Bush, and his cabinet, (you stated that: "Bush, Cheney,Rumsfeld, and Rove should all be punished for war crimes"), and physical violence to conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh?

The above statements you made in your email to me do not sound like those of a "free thinker" at all to me. You have bought into a line of thinking consistent with certain leftist, Anti-American liberals who are as far from "free thinking" as is possible in the realm of thought.

My advice to any American who hates America, (and that includes you), is to move to the Middle East, Iraq, Iran, or Afghanistan, and then see if life is better in that part of the world.

The truth is that fanatical Muslim followers of Osama Bin Laden believed that what they were doing was holy and Godly, and that, after having committed these acts in the name of Allah, they would be blessed forever in the other world as righteous martyrs.

There are those who have walked upon this earth who were true martyrs, and literally gave up their lives to benefit others. The Islamic fanatics that perpetrated the horrendous acts of 9/11 were not martyrs, and, if there is a just God (and I believe there is), they are definitely not being blessed in that other world right now.

I know there are Muslims who are spiritual, kind, honest, and good. I hope they will stand up for whatever truth and goodness they see in their religion, and speak out against terrorists who insist on interpreting the Koran in fanatically disturbing ways.

Renee Walker: Female Jack Bauer Intrigues 24 Fans

Renee Walker (Annie Wersching) is the former FBI Agent in 24's Season 7, and, should Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) ever leave the show, it is my belief that Renee Walker would be an excellent replacement for Jack Bauer.

That being said, the reality is that not having Jack Bauer on 24 would be equal to eating bread without butter, only worse! One thing for sure is that Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) and Renee Walker (Annie Wersching) team up again for exciting viewing in 24: Season 8! 


Evidently Jack Bauer did not actually convert to the Muslim religion, contrary to what many fans thought might be a possibility in 24: Season 7. *See My Related Posts below. Muslim Jihadist terrorist issues are being played out once more in the first 4 hours of 24: Season 8.

24 Season 8 Finds Jack Bauer Alive And NOT A Muslim

24 Season 8: The good news is that Jack Bauer is alive and NOT a Muslim. Yes, Jack Bauer is alive and well on Fox TV's 24, Season 8. Kiefer Sutherland, aka Jack Bauer on the popular Fox TV series, was a guest on ABC's 'Live with Regis and Kelly Show' on Thursday, January 14.

I happened to catch the interview with Kiefer Sutherland. Kiefer Sutherland, who portrays Jack Bauer on Fox TV's 24 series, said that he is very excited about Season 8.

Kiefer Sutherland mentioned that in 24 Season 8 Jack Bauer now has something to go home to, because Jack Bauer, now a grandfather, wants to go back home to be with his daughter Kim, and his grandchild.

Kiefer Sutherland also mentioned that Jack Bauer will go into "dark places" in Season 8, so 24 fans might just get a dose of what they have been waiting for, as 24's Season Premier starts tonight, Sunday January 17th, at 9/8c. 

24 Season 8 also begins in the Middle East. I hope this means that 24 writers, having made a serious blunder at the end of Season 7, when they had Jack Bauer confessing to a Muslim Imam on his supposed deathbed, have now rectified that mistake. 

I want to see Jack Bauer in 24 Season 8, the CTU hero and defender of American soil, who will do whatever it takes to destroy terrorist plots and terrorism, especially those planned by Muslim Jihadist terrorists.

Yes, I want to see the politically incorrect Jack Bauer tracking down evil Muslim Jihadist terrorists. I don't want to see Jack Bauer confessing to a Muslim Imam, and neither do a lot of devoted 24 fans. 

24 fans all over the world are anticipating Season 8 in the hopes that it will give them what they want: the real Jack Bauer!

Napolitano Offers Zero Homeland Security For 18 Republican Leaders

On January 5 The Conservative Victory Committee wrote a letter to Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano requesting Janet Napolitano's voluntary resignation.

The last sentence in this letter, signed by Congressman Michael C. Burgess (R-Texas)and 17 other conservative leaders, states: "Please, Madame Secretary, do the right thing - for our nation, and its people." 

Here is an excerpt from the letter: 

"We are concerned that your performance as Secretary has not been consistent with the high standards required of your job. You have made decisions that are at best highly questionable; at worst erroneous - sometimes dangerously so. And you have on several occasions said things that have been reckless, and demonstrate a lack of understanding of the perilous realities which threaten us as a nation.

We face threats of enormous proportions on several fronts, most notably from terrorists who wish to - and have demonstrated that they have the ability to - commit acts of violence in order to kill Americans and disrupt our way of life. Your past performance and lack of judgment do not give us confidence that you are able to protect the American people against these threats." 

If you recall, CONSERVATIVE WORDSMITH.COM published a post on December 28, 2009, entitled "No Tears For 2009, Thanks to Economic Woes, Health Care, Homeland Security, And A Politically Correct Liberal White House" about Secretary ofHomeland Security Janet Napolitano refusing to use the word "terrorism."

Napolitano said that she preferred to use the word (which is not a real word) "man-caused" disasters. In my post I wrote (quoting myself):

"It is scary that Janet Napolitano, the person Americans are supposed to trust regarding their security from terrorists, particularly Islamic Jihadist terrorists, finds the word "terrorism" to be politically incorrect."

It is interesting to note that the words and sentiments of 18 respected conservative leaders bear an uncanny  resemblance to my own words. Here is what the letter they wrote to Napolitano had to say about this matter:

"And in March, you made the bizarre announcement that terrorist acts would no longer be called what they are - terrorist acts. They would instead be called 'man-caused disasters.' This sort of semantic amorphousness typifies your misunderstanding of the gravity of the position you hold and the import of that with which you are charged -- the safeguarding of the homeland and the American people."

No Tears For 2009, Thanks To Economic Woes, Health Care, Homeland Security, And A Politically Correct Liberal White House

Why are most Americans glad that 2009 is ending? Is it because of the severe economic crisis? Is the troubled economy the only reason? Is it the health care situation? Is it worries about Social Security and Medicare? How about the Ft. Hood Massacre?

Sarah Palin on Ft. Hood:

I think that there were massive warning flags that were missed all over the place," she said. "I think that it was quite unfortunate that, to me, it was a fear of being politically incorrect to not, I am going to use the word, profile this guy.

The following rather shocking conversation took place between a journalist at Der Spiegel (a German magazine) and Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, (Napolitano was appointed by our very liberal President Barack Obama):

SPIEGEL: Madame Secretary, in your first testimony to the US Congress as Homeland Security Secretary you never mentioned the word "terrorism." Does Islamist terrorism suddenly no longer pose a threat to your country?

NAPOLITANO: Of course it does. I presume there is always a threat from terrorism. In my speech, although I did not use the word "terrorism," I referred to "man-caused" disasters. That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur.

There is no such word as "man-caused." I looked up the word at Dictionary.com, and this questions was posed: "Did you mean uncaused?" It is scary that Janet Napolitano, the person Americans are supposed to trust regarding their security from terrorists, particularly Islamic Jihadist terrorists, finds the word "terrorism" to be politically incorrect.

Just for fun, here is the definition of the word "terrorism," a real word Dictionary.com had no trouble in defining (in fact, there are three definitions of the word "terrorism" on Dictionary.com):

1. the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes.

2. the state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization.

3. a terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government.

Will 24 Hero Jack Bauer Be A Muslim Believer In Season 8?

Will Jack Bauer, the hero portrayed by Kiefer Sutherland in Fox TV's 24 series, be a Muslim believer in 2010's Season 8? In May of 2009, I wrote a post entitled 24 Saga Of Jack Bauer's Confession to a Muslim Imam Continues. The following quotation is an excerpt:

Earlier this morning, I wrote a post about Kiefer Sutherland's character, Jack Bauer, as he was portrayed on Monday night's final episode of 24. I have received many hits on my site since then. Obviously depicting Jack Bauer as making his final deathbed confession to a Muslin imam has struck a strong chord with many 24 fans.

I have been an avid fan and follower of 24 since Day 1, and I don't recall Jack Bauer's religion having ever been mentioned on any of the previous episodes. Jack Bauer, having been a crusader, in a manner of speaking, against terrorism in past episodes, Muslim Jihadist terrorism in particular, has never shown any religious interest in becoming a Muslim.

Even though the final episode of 24's Season depicted the dying Jack Bauer confessing to a Muslim imam, I don't believe that Jack Bauer will actually be a Muslim in Season 8. Whether Jack Bauer will or will not be a Muslim when Season 8 premiers in January of 2010 depends, of course, upon whether Jack Bauer is still alive.

I'm guessing that the writers of 24 have by now realized the mistake they made, in the first place, by writing the now infamous Jack Bauer/Muslim imam deathbed scene.   They have probably figured out a miraculous, never before heard of, scientific discovery that has revived Jack Bauer  from the nearly departed.

My best guess is that there will be no follow-up on 24's Season 8 of the Jack Bauer/Muslim imam deathbed confession scene at all. The writers, in my opinion, will simply pretend that the Muslim imam scene in the final episode of 24's Season 7 never existed, and hope that the many angry 24 fans will be a forgiving TV audience.

Kiefer Sutherland Apologizes For Head Butt Incident; Jack Bauer's Deathbed Confession to Muslim Imam On "24" Still A Mystery

Speaking of Jack Bauer, Kiefer Sutherland (the actor who portrays American hero Jack Bauer on 24) recently apologized for the heavily publicized, although unwarranted, head butt incident with a Manhattan, New York fashion designer, and there's a good chance now that all charges will be dropped.

"'I am sorry about what happened that night and sincerely regret that Mr. McCollough was injured,' Sutherland said in the statement.The star of Fox television's '24' was charged May 7 with third-degree assault in the alleged incident two weeks ago at a nightclub at the Mercer Hotel in the trendy SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan. The minor charge is comparable to a speeding ticket.'"1


"A spokeswoman for the Manhattan District Attorney's office declined to comment on whether the charges would be dismissed.But now that Sutherland and McCollough say they have resolved their differences, a prosecutor may go before a judge and ask that the case be dropped. That could happen at Sutherland's next scheduled court appearance on June 22.'"1

24's 7th Season: Jack Bauer's Muslim Imam Confession Continues To Perplex Fans Worldwide

Kiefer Sutherland's portrayal of Jack Bauer's deathbed confession to a Muslim imam on Fox TV's 24, Season 7, Monday night, has evidently created a huge controversy for puzzled fans.

On Tuesday, I wrote and published several posts about 24 character Jack Bauer's sudden interest in, and possible conversion, to the Islam religion. Both of my sites (http://www.conservativewordsmith.com/ and http://conservativewordsmith.townhall.com/) received many visitors from all over the world. Perplexed 24 fans continue to visit my sites today.

Jack Bauer has been merciless to terrorists of any kind, especially fanatical Muslim Jihadist terrorists, in many of the past episodes during previous seasons of 24. Granted, the Muslim imam is definitely not a terrorist of any kind, but Jack's sudden interest in choosing to speak to a Muslim imam, as a spiritual advisor, during his possible last days on earth, is perplexing to many 24 fans.

Thanks to one of my erudite commentators, I have been informed that the extremely conservative Joel Surnow, one of the original creators and a major producer of 24, resigned in 2008. I had not previously been aware of this. I checked it out, and here is an excerpt from ZAP2it regarding this fact:

"Joel Surnow, a co-creator of "24," is leaving the show to pursue other projects.Surnow had been thinking about leaving the FOX show for a while, and during the writers' strike he came to a firm decision. His departure is effective immediately, meaning he won't be part of the 16 episodes yet to be filmed for the show's seventh season, the showbiz trade papers report." 1

According to an an article published in the Hollywood Reporter, and cited in a libertas, A FORUM FOR CONSERVATIVE THOUGHT ON FILM post entitled 'Joel Surnow Exits “24″, "'The openly conservative Surnow, who jokingly labeled himself a 'right-wing nut job,' has been the most visible of the masterminds behind '24.'He hasn’t shied from speaking his mind and made headlines in November when he said: 'Are we nuts thinking Hillary Clinton could be president of this country? Honest to God, just stand back and think about it.' Ironically, the upcoming seventh season of '24,' slated to debut in January 2009, features the first female U.S. president, played by Cherry Jones.'"

Joel Surnow's resignation from 24 is one plausible explanation for the mystery of Jack Bauer's deathbed confession to a Muslim imam. I emphasize the word one, because I believe there is more to it than the resignation of Joel Surnow.

However, Mr. Surnow's resignation certainly is an important factor in understanding Season 7's overly liberal slant, not only on the Muslim issue, but other issues also, such as a female president who is completely against torture of any kind, including that of terrorists.

24 Sparks Jack Bauer/Muslim Imam Controversy In Monday's Episode

In the history of Fox TV's 24 series, the 7th Season, and final episode, depicting Jack Bauer's deathbed confession with a Muslim imam has sparked possibly the biggest controversy since the show first started.

I maintain 2 sites, this one (www.conservativewordsmith.com), and my Townhall.com blog (http://conservativewordsmith.townhall.com). 24 Saga Of Jack Bauer's Confession to a Muslim Imam Continues

Earlier this morning, I wrote a post about Kiefer Sutherland's character, Jack Bauer, as he was portrayed on Monday night's final episode of 24. I have received many hits on my site since then. Obviously depicting Jack Bauer as making his final deathbed confession to a Muslin imam has struck a strong chord with many 24 fans.

I have been an avid fan and follower of 24 since Day 1, and I don't recall Jack Bauer's religion having ever been mentioned on any of the previous episodes. Jack Bauer, having been a crusader, in a manner of speaking, against terrorism in past episodes, Muslim Jihadist terrorism in particular, has never shown any religious interest in becoming a Muslim.

It is puzzling as to why the writers/producers (bear in mind that Kiefer Sutherland is one of the producers of 24) chose to do this. Are they that anxious to make fans of the Muslim population at large? Or are they now being overly zealous in their efforts to try to erase the memories in the minds of those protesting Muslims who were offended in the early days of the series, when the main focus of the show was to catch evil Muslim Jihadist terrorists, and even torture them?

Since I am not one of the writers or producers of 24, I can't claim to know the definitive answer to this perplexing question. However, I do believe that this tactic, that is to say, Jack Bauer's deathbed confession to the spiritual Muslim imam, has not set well with the general population of avid 24 fans. It is not at all in character with Jack Bauer's past actions, and it really makes no sense at all.

And the greater question is in the minds of many 24 fans: Is Jack Bauer now actually a Muslim? Did he convert to Islam? Is he going to convert to Islam if he doesn't die? Or did he just not have any religious ties at all to any religion, and just happened to decide, at the last moment of his possible death, to request a visitation from a representative of a religion to which he has previously shown absolutely no interest whatsoever?


Of course, there is one other possibility: maybe Jack Bauer's body and brain have been so contaminated by exposure to dangerous substances (this happened in another 24 episode during Season 7), that he is now totally insane. Somehow, though, I don't think this is the answer. What appeared to be a conservative show with sometimes liberal slants has now taken a turn into a previously undiscovered dimension. Maybe the 8th season of 24 should even have a new name: The Twilight 24.

Annie Wersching, Alias 24's Renee Walker, Deserves Best Actress Emmy

Annie Wersching is a newcomer to 24, this being her first season on the Fox TV show. I must say that she is fantastic as the equally new character, FBI Agent Renee Walker.

Renee Walker gradually becomes a sort of female Jack Bauer, and Annie Wersching is so good in her portrayal that I almost believed that Jack Bauer is going to die, and that she will succeed him as the new hero. I no longer believe this however, due to the final few moments on Monday night's final episode of 24.

In any case, Annie Wersching deserves to be nominated, and win, an Emmy for Best Actress. She added so much vitality to Series 7, and, if the producers of 24 actually do kill off Jack Bauer (still don't think that's going to happen), she would be a fitting replacement.

24: Will Jack Bauer Be Dead Or Alive In Season 8?

The final episode of Season 7 on Fox TV's 24 Monday night hinted at the strong possibility that Jack Bauer (portrayed by actor Kiefer Sutherland) will still be alive in Season 8. In the last few moments, Jack Bauer's daughter asked the medical person in charge to do the stem cell procedure, implying that Jack will not die after all.

If the stem cell procedure does occur in a future 24 episode, this will not be offensive to conservatives, since the stem cells will come from Kim Bauer (portrayed by actress Elisha Cuthbert), Jack Bauer's adult daughter, and not from an aborted embryo.

The final 2 episodes of 24 Monday night left viewers with questions about the show's hero Jack Bauer (portrayed by Kiefer Sutherland) asking to speak to a Muslim imam on his supposed deathbed. I checked on http://www.fox.com/24, the official 24 site, and there are some discussions on the forum about Jack Bauer seeing a Muslim imam on his deathbed.

It is interesting that 24 initially gained extreme popularity after 9/11, especially with conservatives (I have been a huge fan of 24 since Day 1), due to its focus on terrorism, specifically fanatical Muslim, or Jihadist, terrorists. (Even popular conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, for example, stated that he is a huge fan of this show, at least he used to be. Rush Limbaugh has mentioned that he had flown in to Los Angeles to be a special backstage guest at the 24 studio a few years ago.)

Somewhere down the road, 24 was criticized for being politically incorrect, and eventually an official and very politically correct apology was made (I believe by Kiefer Sutherland), regarding the Muslim issue, during one of the commercial breaks. Was an apology really necessary?

Now the final episode depicts Jack Bauer as looking up to the Muslim imam as, evidently, the only religious person he could think of to talk to during his last few breaths on earth. I guess the producers (and Kiefer Sutherland, the actor who portrays Jack Bauer, is one of the producers of 24) have now decided to carry their political correctness to the extreme. Why did the producers of 24 ever feel the need to please and pacify the Muslim community in the first place? Do they honestly think that the viewers don't know what they're trying to do? Why not have Jack Bauer call in his family Christian pastor, for example? Maybe Jack Bauer has always been an atheist.

Don't get me wrong. I'm glad that Jack Bauer chose to talk to someone with some kind of spiritual authority, and I would like to mention that the actor who portrays the Muslim imam does so with just the right spiritual touch. It's just disturbing that while the praise of the virtues of a Muslim imam are portrayed, the possibility of a Christian pastor's ability to give counsel are completely ignored, especially in light of the fact that 24 has many conservative viewers who might also happen to be Christians. 24 fans are wondering if Jack Bauer has now converted to Islam.

I think the producers of 24 should, in the future, focus their attention on two things: their original purpose for this show, and excellent writing, rather than being so overly concerned about being politically correct. After all, it wasn't political correctness that made this show popular in the first place. It was the show's strong stance against Islamic terrorism, particularly the Jihad branch adhered to by Jihadist terrorists, that made 24, and the American hero Jack Bauer, one of the most popular series in the history of television.
